Hello,

I have an issue with a customer that migrated from a single R62 gateway over
Solaris 9, to an R65 HA Cluster (active/standby) over Solaris 10, and since
the migration they are no longer able to get connected via SecuRemote R60,
it is not even possible to get the site created and after all required info
is entered, it just tries for a while and comes back with a message that
says it failed to get connected to the IP provided for the gateway and the
error received was "invalid id information". Connectivity enhancements
(NAT-T and IKE over TCP) were tried with no success.

I checked the firewall logs and all I see is a log that says "IKE: Main Mode
sent notification to peer: invalid id information". As you see there is not
much to work with, but I looked for that particular message in the SK and I
found several articles, but they make reference to site-to-site VPNs, not
Remote Access ones, and even checking at the causes of the issues described
on those articles, I could not find anything of use for this particular
case.

I have never seen such an error message, has anybody else here experienced
this problem before?

I would really appreciate any help with this issue.

Regards
