Hello, The UTM features include Antivirus (since R61 and R62), URL filtering (since the first release of R65) and now antispam (since the "R65 with Messaging Security" release).
In order to take advantage of such features on your new gateway, you must, at least, request a "functionality upgrade" for your SmartCenter to go from Express to UTM, which is basically an exchange of licenses where you get the UTM one with a discount. if you already have any of the afore mentioned released versions running, the features start working as soon as you get updated licenses, of course on the gateways that also have UTM licenses. Also bare in mind that all these new features work like the good old SmartDefense, if you want them to be effective, they must be updated with a valid annual suscription and right now Check Point offers several packages but the one that includes suscription for all of them is called Total Security.
