Hi all,
Is it possible to build and install a firewall rule from command line
on a R75.20 security gateway?? Can I make it from SmartCenter Server
and after install from it??
Hi,
You can inspire from the ofiller tool and use dbedit to create a new rule.
You can then push the rulebase with fwm load command from smartcenter.
This rule needs to create between four and five hosts after doing a
dns query. No NAT rule is required.
What will happen if the hosts IP change, but the DNS names are the same ?
dynamic objects can also be usefull as you can prepare the ruleset then
associate names with ip from the
gateway.
Thanks.
