Are you referring to the security policy, or the QoS policy?

In the security policy (where you create your normal access rules), you can
have
either traditional mode, or simplified mode. The recommended policy type is
simplified.

In the QoS policy, you can have either traditional mode, or express mode.
Traditional mode provides you with greater flexibility and the option to create
sub-rules, whereas express mode is a little more basic. However, if you want to
install policies to ROBO gateways (Edge appliances), only express mode is
supported.

So, which one are you looking for? The QoS policy, or the security policy?

Cheers

Subject: [FW-1] Express mode vs Traditional Mode

Hi All, Is there a way to check which mode the policy is in on checkpoint
gateway ie traditional or express. Also I need to convert the policy from
express
to traditional mode.

Appreciate if some one could send a SK for this.
