I installed Checkpoint NG pack 2 to a Sun/Ultra-2 Solaris 8 system.
Installation was successful. But I can not install rules. I used
Checkpint GUI on Sun, I got error message on the console:
DecodeFwSet:scope error <::jcfw> unfound
Checkpoint Support told me, this is an unknown error.
I used PC GUI. When I "Verify..", it was OK. When I "Install..",
I saw the "install successful" message, but "Close" button was
grey. I can not click on it. The window hang. I have to fwstop/fwstart
on the console to restart the window.
I used two different U2s, and two different PCs, all of them have the
same problem. I have contacted with Checkpoint Support for few weeks.
The problem still did not solve yet.
Does any one have the same problem? Do you have any suggestion?
