Here's a nice one - anyone seen anything like it?

I am trying to install SecureClient (SC) onto Dell latitude laptops.
SC version is 52097 although I also tried 53328 the other day and got the
same symptoms.
Laptops are Dell Latitude CPx running new installs of Win2k

The SC install runs OK without any errors. When I reboot the laptop at the
end of the install I get the message
'SecureClient failed to load' and another saying userc.C corrupt.

Funny thing is when I install the exact same binary onto a Dell Latitude
C610 or C840 it installs and runs just fine.

Of course, I have tried copying userc.C from the C610, but it made no
difference.

Ideas, anybody?

Julian
