Subject: [FW-1] FP3 on W2K - Memory leaks

I put a test box up on Friday and this morning the cpd.exe process had consumed 690Mb. Attempting to push a policy resulted in "No memory available" messages and lots of malloc error events in the event log. This box is passing little to no traffic - I was just testing connections to a Sonicwall using IKE (which also isn't working). I rebooted the box and have been watching the cpd process for the last couple of hours and it's slowly but surely consuming more and more memory. Appears to be eating about 6 megs per hour.

I'll open a ticket with Checkpoint, but I was just curious if anyone has seen this behavior.

Geoff
