Hi,

I've missed the begining of this thread I think, but here are some pointers.
I assume that the client is behind the Sonic wall and it is running network
address translation with the Checkpoint Firewall in another location. the
problem probably isnt with the Sonic wall, as long as the relevent sockets
have been opend up and a static NAT rule has been applied for the client
this is all that should need to be done. At the checkpoint Firewall end some
modification need to be made to the config files and the service restarted.

A good source of informtation for stuff like this is www.phoneboy.com look
under fw1 faqs - SecureRemote - Secure remote and nat.

Hope this helps

So the Sonicwall won't handle the traffic between a Checkpoint firewall and
SecuRemote client?

To the best of my knowledge, the only other way to do this (other than VPN
on the remote firewall) is to ensure that you have a static external IP
address for the workstation that will pass ALL services through. This, of
course, means that you will have to protect this machine separately
(NetworkICE or other solution).

I posted a couple of weeks back asking for ideas about how to get the
SecuRemote client working from behind a SonicWall. I did get some
information, but I wanted to clarify my question:

Has anyone gotten this working without VPN running on the SonicWall? I know
that Sonic has a document for a VPN between the two firewalls, but I don't
want to purchase the VPN for the Sonicwall.
