Hi,
Is anyone out there running fw-1 on Linux succesfully? I have fw-1 running
on RH6.1(Cartman), Kernel 2.2.12-20. It is configured and running well, the
only problem being that it keeps crashing on an evening. Between 8pm and
11pm GMT the box hangs once a night. That time is the quietest as our
company is empty which would seem a funny time to crash. It runs all day
long with 50 users accessing the net and tons of incoming smtp/ftp and web
connections and no crashes!
My fw1 logs show nothing unusual and /var/log/messages has no entries at the
time of the crash either. I am at a bit of a loss for what to do. Does
anyone have any experience of this? Do you have a working box? If so what
version? I have 4.1 build 41603.
