Vincent,

I'm not sure which version you're using, but here are a few things to try:

The above line is telling me that you're set up to run this from a "Remote
Management Server"
If this is okay, then nevermind. However, I would run "cpconfig" and look at my
"Gui Clients".
Alternatively, look in $FWDIR/conf/gui-clients, which lists your gui clients.

>fwm: can't establish service : Address already in use

After typing "fwstart" and then get the timeout, type "ps -ef" to make sure the
job is not still
listed in the job processes.

>Firewall-1: failed to start fwm
>
>Firewall-1: Fetching Security Policy from localhost
>Trying to fetch security Policy from localhost
>
>Firewall-1: Fetching Policy on all.all@fw
>Fetching Security Policy from localhost succeeded

Now, it is loading from the localhost, instead of the Remote Management
Server!!!
This tells me either the gui-client is not set right, or that there is a rule
that is wrong.
Try checking your firewall under network objects, and see if "management server
is checked
for local or remote.

Hope this helps, instead of adding to the confusion
