Frank,
I too pursued this with a past Nokia Vendor as well as Nokia. Nothing ever
came from it, which has led me to believe that they have something to hide,
hence the performance of the Nokia isn't better than that of a SUN/CKP
firewall(approx 96MBPS).
I've seen independent research that supports Sun & Winnt throughput, if
anyone has a doc independent or not for Nokia I'd be interested in seeing
it.

Subject: [FW1] Nokia IP 650 Performance numbers
Since Nokia cannot or will not provide the performance data for the IP 650,
I was curious if anyone on the list has benchmarked the forwarding rates
for
this platform. I keep hearing "target bandwidth of 150 MBPS", with nothing
to qualify that number to. Any help would be greatly appreciated
