Good Morning/Afternoon. I have been asked a "management style" question and it has stumped me. We are currently installing 1 Nokia firewall module with 1 NT management module. ( soon to be 2 firewall modules ) They will be connected directly together, No Lan connection between them. We have an eval license for both and the IP address of the management module is non routable. In order to access the management module via GUI client can I NAT the management module address on the firewall module to a routable company internal address ? My instinct says NO, the IP address of the management box should be routable, but I cant think of a reason why !!!
