I am not sure what is doing the NAT. Im looking at the possibility of
setting up people at home with ADSL provided by a local provider (they are
the ones with the dynamic nat).

Dave.

We at Vant use SecuRemote behind Dynamic NAT (Linux). As far as I
remember, you can find some "tips" on Phoneboy's FAQ. What kind of machine
is doing NAT for you ?

Dave,

Never with Dynamic NAT. If you can enable Static (1-to-1) NAT for this
10.x.x.x host to an internet routable address, there are methods to get this
functional.

If anyone has this working with Dynamic NAT, please add your comments, as we
have been trying everything for the past 2 years, to no avail where Dynamic
NAT is concerned.

I was wondering if anyone had experience connecting to a VPN with
VPN-1/Firewall-1 4.0 and SecuRemote 4.1 on the client side where the client
machine is behind a dynamic NAT. The client has a 10.x.x.x address assigned
to the interface and is translated to a dynamic address by the NAT box.

I know that it was looked at in VPN-1 4.1 but I would like to hear some
experience with it and even if someone got it to work with 4.0.

Thanks.

Dave.
