Hello,
After reading this post, this cleared up some issues... Another question...
We have an enterprise/unlimited version of FW-1 4.0 SP1 with both the
management and fw modules on the same NT box... We would like to separate
the management and FW modules to their own respective boxes.
Can a management server and a FW module be built up (service packs)
seperately to the point of the other single orginal box and just simply copy
the *.W, *.pf, *.C, and rulebases.fws files to the new seperate management
server, then make the appropriate changes to the policy to recognize the new
setup and then install the policy on the new seperate fw module box.
What issues are involved in this???
Thanks.....
David

Make sure the FW's are at the same level and the same SP before you try this
or you'll have issues.
