Using PPTP inside a SecureRemote connection is the only way I can think of
to manage the firewall remotely since my ISP only provides static IP
addresses.

Could be usefull in the following scenario:
Connecting a SOHO with a floating IP address to an existing VPN.
|Site1|FW1---LeasedLine---{Internet}---Dial-up---SecuRemote|Site2|
(PPTP_SRV1)<------------------------------------------>(PPTP_SRV2)

Will it work? Is it a good idea? These are the things I wonder about. Oh,
that and the fact that I can connect to my PPTP server (on my DMZ) while
ONLY when I enable open pptp traffic, but if stops working when I set a rule
to allow only encrypted users. I have an fwenc.log file, but no clue how to
interpret it. ANy help at all will be appreciated. NOTE: I am able to
authenticate when I allow open pptp access to the pptp host, so I know the
FWZ user/password pair is cool.
TIA
