Napster- You can block default ports/User can change ports, You can host all
Napster DNS entries and send to 127.0.0.1/ user can add Napster entries to
local host files.
ie- Any user with decent tech skills can find a way around it.
RealAudio- Looks like to figured it out. Remember- extensions can be
changed!
Gnutella- Forget it.

Ok I know this sucks for employees, and I am the bad guy now.. but..
I need to block all services like Naspter, Gnutella, Read AUdio, SPINNER,
downloading mp3's, avi's, mpg's.. and anything that a person could deem
enjoyable.
Napster i blocked the two default server ports.. Real audio I setup a URI
for .rm, .ra, .ram.. mp3's i set up for www to block .mp3.. However
adding the ftp option for that, my URI doenst work.
SPinner I didn't have time to sniff, but even though it uses real
audio.. it still doesn't appear to block it. Gnutella is going to be hard.
Can people give me ideas for what they have done?
