Yep. your profile should be the following, note the export and path.

# @(# local.profile 1.4 93/09/15 SMI)
stty isrtip
FWDIR=/etc/fw
export FWDIR
PATH=/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/etc:/usr/openwin/bin:$FWDIR/bin
MANPATH=$FWDIR/man:$MANPATH
export PATH MANPATH

that should fix it. let me know if you run into any other issues.

Subject: [FW1] setenv for fw

Greetings to all FW Gurus,
      I'm a newbie to the mailing list and seeking
advise from any of you who could enlighten me on some
installation issue that I had encountered. I had
successfully pkgadd fw software to solaris unix box.
My configuration is something like this:
Solaris 2.6 on Netrai (Sparc 5)
Quad card
Fw 4.0

I encountered messages like
"You need to setenv for your FWDIR before you can run
this" when I try to execute ./fwconfig.

My .profile looks something like this:

# @(# local.profile 1.4 93/09/15 SMI)
stty isrtip
PATH=/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/etc:/usr/openwin/bin
FWDIR=/opt/CKPfw
PATH=$FWDIR/bin:$PATH
MANPATH=$FWDIR/man:$MANPATH
export PATH MANPATH

I have visited phoneboy website but could not find
any help on this.

Thanks a million to all.
