Service Pack 6 also has an uninstall feature, much like Microsoft's support pack installs, in case you have any issues. I have no idea why some files would still be locked after the service is shut down, but I've had to do this several times with sp5. Worked every time. II. If the GUI client is running on the management server, then it will automatically be updated when you run the SP update. If you happen to be running any remote GUI clients, run the SP6 (yes the same one) on the machine and it will update the files needed. !!! A big no-no is to run a GUI with a lower sp than a management server, the GUI should match the support pack on the management server !!
