How do you justify the statement of 3X cost? The base
MSRP for the IP440 is $9995, the base unit for the
IP650 is $16995. That is hardly a 3X difference. If
you don't need hot-swap interfaces or dual power
supplies and your pipe is <T3 there is no reason. On
the other hand the IP650 is a very solid unit...but so
is the IP440. You won't regret buying an IP650, but if
you are on a limited budget the IP440 is an excellent
choice.
