While using Log Viewer 4.0 (Build 4031), I noticed an interesting "feature."
Not that it's really important or a show-stopper, but I am interested to
know if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
If I use the Log Viewer to connect to one of my management servers, set a
selection criterion, and then save the settings, when I log onto another
management server with the same Log Viewer (with different objects on the
other mgmt server), the GUI crashes.
At first when I had encountered the problem I became quite frustrated. Log
Viewer continued to Dr. Watson each time I connected to one of my management
servers. Finally, I tried another server and viola! it worked. I removed
the selection criterion and was able to successfully view the logs from the
first management server. It seems the GUI doesn't like you to change
management servers if you save selections which are specific to certain
servers.
