Wilson,

Although I am new to this firewall business, I found the link below very
useful. I am running FW1 v4.0 on a Solaris machine and installed the script
as detailed on the site. Works a treat! Now I get about 1000 mails a week
with scans on our DMZ machines.

Good luck!

Subject: [FW1] How to identify an attempt attack on a firewall?

Hi to all,

Is it possible to determine if there is an attempt attack on FW1?

The only tracking that I have is on the cleanup rule. Is this sufficient?

Kind regards
Wilson
