Hi
After several months of trying and a client SR software upgrade
later....the NT domain login works now and network shares work a treat.
But one thing I can't understand is that through all of this Lotus Notes
clients found their servers - but now they cannot. It;s probably something
very simple - but I can't find it !
Setup:-
1. SR 4153 on Win 95 OSR2 using DUN 1.3 and Winsock 2 with UUNET dialup
package
Encryption is FWZ-DES using MD5
2. Fwall is CP 4.0 SP4
Our DMZ servers are statically NAT'd whilst all other (Internal) addresses
are hidden behind a single NAT address.
Basically we can login to network and drives are mapped okay then you go
into Lotus Notes Client and it complains that it cannot find the server.
Pings won't help because pings don't seem to work through SR even with ICMP
Accept blah blah...
Couldn't see anything dropped related to this.
I tried adding the Notes server to the hosts file - no good.
The WINS server setting on DUN is for our internal WINS address - I'm not
sure it's picking this up but the NT login/mapping works.
Any ideas ?
TIA
Tim Higgins
