Does anyone know if the Nokias support UDP Broadcast forwarding or, in Cisco terminology, a "helper addresses" for braodcast addresses? Here's the background info. Our Nokia 650 FW has a VPN DMZ, after the traffic is decrypted, it is routed throught he FW to the internal network. We are using NAT so that NetBios traffic (from the NT VPN client) with dest=broadcast address will get translated to dest=appropriate NT server on a different network. The problem is that NAT is done *after* the Nokia box already makes the routing decision, which in this case would be to throw the packet out because it's irrelevant. Thanks for any advice, -- DH PS -- Sorry this is slightly off topic, since it's specific to the Nokias -- Is there a Nokia mailing list? ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
