You are certainly going to need to have port 25 open to your Notes MTA
(Mail Transfer Agent) from the Internet so as mail can be delivered. If you
restrict outgoing traffic you are also going to need to open port 25 from your
MTA to the Internet.
Now for the Notes stuff. If you have other Notes servers that are outside
your FireWall on your "Hub" than you are going to need to open port 1352. This
is the native Notes port.
You should not need to open up ports above 1024, in fact you should NEVER
have to do that.
Hope that this helps.

Subject [FW1] Lotus Notes, second try :(
:
Hi all!
Does FW-1 (4.0 and 4.1) do stateful inspection on the Lotus Notes protocol
or do I have to open the firewall for all ports above 1024?
Any input is appreciated.
TIA
J. Berner
