I'm very happy with the training I and my network engineer got from
SecureIT (http://www.verisign.com/training/firewall/index.html --
they got bought by Verisign). I ended up taking the Nokia class
(HA Firewall-1 for Nokia) before the Checkpoint class and didn't
have a problem with it (my background involved admin'ing CP on a
Sun box also); for complete neophytes they recommend you take the
CP class first.
