Richard,
What your talking about is port NATing and that isn't possible under CP.
What you may need is a third, intermediary server so that you can talk ssl
to it, and have it refer all sessions as HTTP to the real server.
In your case, since you want both servers to talk to each other using SSL,
you may need the intermediary on each side.
I am unaware of any other method which will allow this without some form of
intermediary in between.
