Currently we only allow access to our internal network by dialing to our ras
equipment and using a range of IP addresses not routable on the internet.
Access controlled by firewall.

We are looking to utilise a VPN solution (inconjuction with Firewall 1 and
Windows NT 4.0/2000) which would allow us to use the internet as a carrier
and make use of the fixed price per month charges for connecting to the
internet (UK) by various ISPs.

My concern is to allowing access from the internet to internal resources
(via the firewall) which products would the list recommend to make this as
secure as possible without emptying the coffers. The traffic will be a mix
of http, mail and telnet. With there is way of restricting access to the
external dns for some hosts, ie NATTed internal hosts restricted but public
accesses machine anyone.
