Sorry if I was a bit terse. Here's a more complete version of the previous
statement:

I wouldn't suggest running different versions of Solaris and different
versions of Check Point on the nodes of a single cluster, regardless of
the HA product used to cluster the nodes together. This is because 
default configurations, handling of unusual traffic, and ability to handle
load change from release to release. When failover happens, traffic that
was acceptable at node A may not be acceptable at node B -- may in fact
constitute a fatal DoS at node B in some cases. This is an issue with any
HA product.
