I know that I have seen several posts about this error, but I have tried
everything that they have said and nothing seems to be working
I am running VPN-1 4.1 SP1 single gateway on NT 4.0 SP 6 the securemote
client is 4153 3DES right off of the Checkpoint 2000 CD.
Packets are routing to the firewall. If I kill securemote the traffic is
dropped, and if it is running the RDP packets that securemote sends to logon
also get to the firewall and are accepted.
My encryption domain is the internal network plus the valid address on one
NATed server
I have enabled both FWZ and IKE using SecuRemote password for authentication
on the firewall workstation object and securemote users. FWZ is set to any
and IKE is set to DES.
My rules look like this
Any - fw1 - fw1, RDP, FW1_topo, ISAKMP - accept
SecuRemote-Users@any - encDomain - any - client encrypt
The client can download the info from the firewall just fine, but it
continues to get the no answer received from firewall error.
The firewall workstation object is configured on the valid ip address, the
licensing is on the right IP address, packets route to the firewall
Any ideas?
