Hello All,
We have just finished a design review for a HA FW1 in
our medium sized financial institution. We end up with
10 separate segments including financial lan, office
lan, remote access, internet, web, financial flows,
special high security systems etc...
My question is whether anyone has experience of this
kind of Firewall configuration ? Is it realistic
?would the rules management be an issue with so many
segments. Are there any other alternative approaches
that we should consider ?
Is this type of firewall config becoming the norm or
are we creating a monster ?
