Dear All, Does anybody use SOCKS5 ? What are the good/bad points of using scoks5 with FW1 ? We are planning to have the following setup, please let me know if it is a recommended setup or not ? 1 inside Socks5 2 FW1 with Rainwall 1 outside Socks5 in the DMZ 10 external subnets All the subnets are talking to the sokcs5 in the DMZ. The 2 socks5 are talking to each other through the FW1. There are no other traffic allowed through the FW1 complex, except the traffic between the socks5. So, what are the advantages and drawbacks ?
