Greetings all,
Recently the company I work for has decided to connect are German office
with the Corporate office in the US. In an effort to save money the idea
has been suggested to purchase a DSL connection to the Internet from a
German provider and buy a Checkpoint VPN-1 Appliance to provide a secure
connection. I am sure that the VPN-1 Appliance is a good product, but I have
no experience with it. My questions are listed below.
1. Does anyone out there have any opinions/experience regarding the line of
products?
2. Can this type of DSL connection mentioned above be done reliably with a
Checkpoint 4.1 Firewall and the VPN-1 Appliance?
