I can confirm this. I attempted to implement one on 6.2 and had all kinds
of issues, particularly with attempting to do NAT.

I have heard through different sources that it is only stable and most
secure on RH 6 or 6.1, not yet 6.2.

Subject: [FW1] Installing FW-1 on linux
Hi,
Just one question:
I would like to install a FW-1 on a linux system.
CheckPoint recommend to install it on a Redhat 6.0 or 6.1 distribution.
Does someone make so ?
I think it's a kernel version number problem more than a distribution
number ...
RedHat-6.2 coms with a 2.2.14 kernel ...
Does FW-1 works with Redhat 6.2 ??
Thanks for the responses
