Hi David,
this file is from a URI Resource where you have defined a URI match file.
Then you have deletet this resource. But the FW didn't deletet all
pointers to the match file stored on the FW host.
I had this problem also. I think with V4.0 and SP4 but I'm not sure about
the exact SP.
I have done a search for files with containing 'test.list'.
I've made a backup of this files, stopped the FW services.
Then I deleted all the reverences to this 'list' file.
Then started the FW again - bingo the problem was gone.

Subject: [FW1] ERROR - cannot access C:\WINNT\FW\conf\lists\test.list
Hello,
I was editing some object names and for a UFP server without any problem
when hitting 'ok' (server took the name change) and when trying to push the
policy after verifying the rule base, I got this error:
cannot access C:\WINNT\FW\conf\lists\test.list: The system cannot find the
file specified.
Installing Security Policy failed
I disabled the rules where I edited the UFP server, and tried tp push
again... again the same message...
My questions:
What is the "C:\WINNT\FW\conf\lists\test.list" for???
Phoneboy doesn't list anything to my knowledge about this error
How do I fix this problem (assuming what I presented is enough info..)
I cannot push an (any, any, all) policy during the day to test, because the
current policy running is still working and this a production
environment.....
Any comments would be appreciated...
Thanks!!!
David
