Hi yall
I know its not supported but 4.1 seemd to run fine on Solaris 8
I know lance has done lots of work on this and I have used hist
core8 suggestions to build some boxes. All is fine with 4.1
When I tried SP2 boy have i got some problems.
1) the fw1 install script calls iostat and on my machine iostat core dumps (sun have
now given a patch
which seems to relate to not having a floppy dive Duh?)
2) Sp2 install goes fine and on reboot the firewalls load up but as soon as the get a
rule base from
the master the fwd core dumps.
Anyone got ideas on how to proceed I dont really want to use 7 and install 130 M of
patches !
