Gary / Chris :

Have wasted several hours on this particular issue.
A more reliable solution is to not to use
checkpoint http sec. server; rather use websense
off a Cisco Cache director [will also give you bandwidth
mgmt as a bonus] or via cacheflow box. Read
their website for more information on these reliable
configuration. what this does is reduce the load on
fw module box - disadv is you will be introducing a couple
of hardware boxes into the picture - however this
will give you more reliability and attention from other vendors.

cheers

Subject: RE: [FW1] HTTP Security & Websense

Chris,

I am having the same problem as yourself Websense is on NT4 SP5, and
firewall version 4.0 on NT4.
Support at websense blame the firewall for the problem and don't accept the
fact that it worked okay when I was running version 3 of Websense.

If anybody else on the list is experiencing this or know someone who is
please let me know and I will use it the beat websense tech support with all
our configurations cannot be wrong!

Anybody with a solution is also invited to reply.

Gary Varnam
