Hello,

The GUI does not use the .W files. It checks the rulebases.fws file (which
is sort of a concatenation of all of the recent rulebases and objects). I
have had all of my .W files disappear from my GUI when my rulebases.fws
file became corrupted. I was able to rebuild it using the "fwm -g" command
(if the rulebases.fws file still exists in the /conf directory rename it to
something else). That command takes all of your old .W files and creates a
rulebases.fws file that the GUI can work with.

Hope it helps,

We had something similar when we moved to 4.1 sp2 on a
Sun box. We had to compile the *.W files to *.pf by
hand before the GUI would find them. I leaving out
some details I know. Sorry for the fuzzy answer.

THX,
Pete Goodridge
