Brian,
Do the directory and registry names match? I
don't know if they need to be what the FAQ
says, but you might want to try the same.
Can I get you to _export_ the registry setting to
a file, then copy into a return post. I would like
to see the entry. Also, have you checked the
rights of the new directory. Not sure if this even
matters, but if the application cannot write to it,
it might revert to the old location.
As another test(if the above fails), rename the
original dirfectory and see what happens. I
would be careful of this one, if your fw software
automatically starts - might bluescreen and hence
lock you out(backups, ERD, etc)
