I have a problem with SR SP2 and network adaptor binding on Win95 ver
4.00.950B.

Previously (build 4157) I could have SR bound to both dialup and NIC
interfaces - no problems except when trying to go through two levels of NAT.

Having upgraded to SP2(build 4165) I find that the Firewall-1 protocol will
not stay bound to the NIC interface. After the reboot, SR does not trap
connections to addresses in the encryption domain. Forcing a topology
download works and user is correctly authenticated.

I can go into ControlPanel/Network and checck the boxes that set the binding
but clicking OK and opening the same window again shows that the setting is
not ticked.

Closing the Network window updates the files/bindings and prompts for a
reboot. If I do not reboot then SR starts working. If I reboot then the
binding appears to be gone and SR does not work until I rebind in Control
panel/network and do NOT reboot.

Any ideas how I can make the binding stick.

Jim
