Hi,
I am having continual problems with VPN. I have had our third-party support
look into several times, and it seems to work for awhile and then it stops.
I have my checkpoint firewall v4.1 SP2 setup using fwz encription, and the
clients are attempting to use sso and sdl. I have the firewall configured
with a generic* user so that we would not have to add individual users into
the database. I have a lmhosts file setup with all the important domain
servers, mail servers, etc. The error message that I see in the log when
attempts are made to the firewall are:
Client encryption:Access denied by Firewall-1 Authentication.
On the client side I have deleted the site and re-added it, and it does
receive the initial Key ID's. But it will not make a connection to the
firewall.
What can I do. What am I missing. I have looked at plenty of How-to's on
checkpoints web site with failure. Any help would be appreciated.
