You need to add a second package to support snoop, specifically SUNWxfn,
which contains the missing library. Something I have been trying lately
is replacing snoop with a pre-compiled version of snort (www.snort.org).
This way you have sniffing capabilities, without all the 'baggage' of
two more packages.
Be advised, adding a sniffer to your firewall can expose it to risk.
K2 from the ADMCrew identified a way to gain root on a system that
was running snoop. Bugtraq 858.
