You know Gilles, it might have been a bright idea to set your handy-dandy auto-reply
feature to respond to:
a) people who you actually want to know that you are on vacation, and your phone #,
and the mere fact that you are subscribed to the Checkpoint List
b) MESSAGES THAT ARE ACTUALLY ADDRESSED TO YOU!
Just getting sick of tossing your autoresponse in the trash. Seeing as you are
subscribed to a commercial firewall mailing list, I am guessing you might have a job
that vaguely relate to corporate security in some way. Sounds like you got all your
ducks in a row!
Don't bother replying... this email address is being added as I speak to my "block"
list.... I am really sick of these damn things.
Cheers,
John
P.S. I am fully aware that I have given my email address to a public list and should
not complain about receiving unsolicited mail. However, I think this falls into the
category of "senseless self-depricating thoughtlessness." My advice: understand what
a particular piece of
software does before installing it on your computer.
