You don't need them unless you've got disks shared
by two machines. 

The only service I run through inetd is rpc.ttdbserverd,
as I want to be able to start openwindows occationally.
This means I have to run rpcbind as well. On a tty-equipped
machine I would disable both inetd and rpcbind.
