Jose,

A couple of ways come to mind. For the first one
you'll want to be on yor own (I don't have v3)

Try and delete the object and it should tell you that
the object is part of the rulebase. It should have a
button that says show me what rules it part of(at
least in 4.x it does.)

The other is to vi $FWDIR/conf/{rulebase name}
for the object name and notate which rules it part of.
