Hi,
I have also checked to $FWDIR/log/fwd.elg .
At the time that the Nokia stopped logging to the mgmt. station there are
rules in the 'fwd.elg'.
fwd: FireWall-1 server is running
fwd: Log Server x.x.x.x went down
fwd: logsys_add_connection_packet_e: recursive call, return
fwd: OPSEC: Received new control security key from x.x.x.x
fwd: new interface was installed: configuration (ifn=-1) reloading
fwd: new interface was installed: configuration (ifn=-1) reloading
fwd: FireWall-1 daemon going to die on sig 15
Does anyone know what the rule 'fwd: OPSEC: Received new control security
key from (mgmt. station)'means?
Because normaly when I do a putkey it says 'fwd: FW: Received new control
security key from (mgmt. station)'
regards,
Stefan Dens

Onderwerp: [FW1] Nokia logging problem to mgmt. station
Hi,
We have a problem with our Nokia IP440: It started writing its logfile
locally afther a reboot of the Nokia.
I did have used 'fwstop' and 'fwstart' but it wouldn't start sending the log
to the mgmt. station.
I can install a fw policy with the GUI and further eveything seems alright
except the logging.
We did also several times the 'fw putkey', but still didn't change anything.
Does anyone has an idea? Thanks!
Regards,
Stefan Dens
