We are running fw-1 4.01 on a nokia IP330 an got some strange problems. First of all our configuration Ethernet A, xxx.xxx.xxx.3 : WAN only IP address is our router xxx.xxx.xxx.1 Ethernet B, xxx.xxx.xxx.1: LAN , RFC-Hosts, NAT whole segment to one IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.5 Ethernet C, xxx.xxx.xxx.3 : DMZ, RFC-Hosts, NAT dynamically each RFC-Host to corresponding official IP address When connecting to our mailserver within the dmz (regardless if from lan or wan) everything seems working fine. But every 5 minutes we get a no route to host error and it seems like the firewall starts sending the packets back to the router instead of passing them to the dmz. Is it possible that this error occurs because we got the fw-1 interface installed with a higher IP than the mail-host (fw-1 is xxx.xxx.xxx.3 und mail-host is xxx.xxx.xxx.2) ? Somebody knows what going on ? regards Sven ------------------------------------------------------------------- Netspaces GmbH & Co KG Sven Frommholz Webmaster (SF967-RIPE) Emanuel-von-Ketteler-Str. 26 59229 Ahlen Tel.: +49 (0)2382 981052 Fax: +49 (0)2382 981038 eMail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] WWW: http://www.netspaces.de ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
