Dear Mr Gunjan,
Solution1: Error messages in
ahttpd.log\ahttpd.elg
These messages are normal since they reflect
normal user browsing
Problem Description
Error messages in ahttpd.log\ahttpd.elg
Error messages in ahttpd.log (when using
Firewall-1 4.0) or ahttpd.elg (when using
Firewall-1 4.1)
Error: "Cannot connect to WWW-server: Transport
endpoint is not connected"
Error: "connection closed prematurely"
Problem Environment:
FireWall-1 4.0
FireWall-1 4.1
ahttpd.log
ahttpd.elg
Cause of this problem:
Errors can be a result of a number of causes,
such as:
- Browsing to a web site and then moving to a
different page by pressing another link before
the page is completely downloaded.
- A client that cannot reach a server due to a
misspelled address.
Solution 2: Error message appears in
$FWDIR/log/ahttpd.log (or in version 4.1 -
ahttpd.elg) (36.0.2593371.2515367)
To correct the problem do the following
1. fwstop the firewall
2. Go to the props section of the objects.C file.
Create the following two lines:
:http_max_header_length (x)
:http_max_url_length (x)
Replace 'x' with the desired value.
3. fwstart the firewall
4. Reinstall the policy
Problem Description
Error message appears in $FWDIR/log/ahttpd.log (or in
version 4.1 - ahttpd.elg)
Error: "new header length exceeded max_header_length"
Problem Environment:
FireWall-1
HTTP
Cause of this problem:
This error message is normally caused by using a URL
that is longer than 1024 characters.
