Do you have a default route (statically configured) on you firewalls?
I had this once and that seemed to cure it.

kpoint.com Subject: [FW1] NAT
problems
30-10-00 06:41
Hi.
I have strange problem with FW-1 4.1 SP 2 on a solaris 2.6 box.
I have several networks behind my firewall and each network translates to a
specific external public address.
Network 10.x.x.0 Mask 255.255.255.0 NAT (hide mode) translates to
195.x.x.50
Network 10.y.x.0 Mask 255.255.255.0 NAT (hide mode) translates to
195.x.x.51
...
...
...
This has workt fine until a few weeks ago. Suddenly The FW-1 ignores the
addresstranslation.
The workaround is to save the NAT object and install the rulebase again.
After a while another NAT object stops translating.
FW ctl pstat tells me that i don't have any memoy problems.
I have around 20 different networks with differnt external addresses.
Any ideas ??
Regards
Johan
