Has anyone succsessfully configured a Netopia R series router to communicate
with VNP1 on the Nokia platform via an IPSEC tunnel? I am currently trying
to set this up. I am using 56 bit single DES encrytion I have an
autentication Type set to ESP with a Transform set to MD5 on the Netopia
side the encryption type is set to HMAC-MD5-96 (closest option) The keys
are static i'm not using seed. I'm just using a simpe 1234567890abcdef key
for the time being until i can get a tunnel open. Any help would be great.
Please tell me if i'm missing somthing. Checkpoint TS has been no help in
the matter. They say it should work. I say it dosn't ;-)
