Content management tools like MimeSweeper range of products can be used in
this area , websense I think is another but do it in a different way.

I don't sell MimeSweeper , just use it and my knowledge of others is
limited.
For web browsing their product websweeper as a proxy can check for PICS
ratings (a voluntary rating service) or based on words and their weighting
For mail they have mailsweeper which can block based on words and their
weighting. They also have pornsweeper which can block based on comparing
flesh tones in an image...
I doubt you will find many on linux platforms tho. NT or Solaris are the
most popular.
The only foolproof answer is to have no staff.........
